Tell Us Your Story

Our district is large and we receive many requests for photo and video coverage. In many cases, we need at least a two week notice to properly plan for an event. Your event is as important to us as it is to you, and the number of requests sometimes exceeds the amount of hands we have to cover them.

In addition to this form, we put together a few tips to help you get the good news out about your school. This will help ensure your event gets the attention and coverage that it deserves.

If the Communications Department is unable to cover your event, you can still create high quality photos and videos using these quick tips.

  1. Recruit a couple members of your team to take photos for the event. 5-10 quality photos are enough to tell your story.
  2. Make sure the device is horizontal for recording video or photographing groups. Vertical images should be photos only.
  3. Post video / images to your school’s website and / or social media site(s). Be sure to #JPschools in your social posts and tag Jefferson Parish Public Schools. This will allow us to possibly share your content.
