Safe and Supportive Schools High School Parent Survey

Several high schools in our district are participating in a Safe and Supportive Schools Initiative Survey through the Louisiana State Department of Education.  The survey will allow schools to measure conditions for learning to improve your child’s high school’s environment.

The results of this survey will allow us to develop and implement programs that will:

  • Address suspensions and expulsions related to substance use and violence
  • Reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs
  • Improve academic achievement
  • Increase student safety
  • Increase graduation rates
  • Reduce dropout rates
  • Reduce at risk social behaviors
  • Provide a continuum of mental health services to serve youth and families
  • Provide services to enhance pro-social skills for youth and families

This is an opportunity to help your child’s school by sharing your opinions about it. Your opinions are important and the school is interested in hearing them. This survey is anonymous. Please copy and paste the correct link for your child’s school on to your URL box.
