Meisler Middle Teacher Honored For Work For People With Disabilities

Meisler Middle School teacher Renate Brown was recently recognized by the Advocacy Institute for her work on behalf of senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Brown was one of three award recipients honored by the Advocacy Center in 2012 during a ceremony at the Audubon Institute.  Each year, the Advocacy Center recognizes three Louisianians who have made significant achievements in the areas of Protection, Empowerment, and Advocacy for people with disabilities and seniors.  Brown will be awarded with the Empowerment Award.

Congratulations Ms. Brown.
