Livaudais Middle School recently held a toy drive benefiting Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. As part of Alex Fisher and Jack Dunphy’s 23rd Annual Toy Drive for Children’s Hospital, the students and staff of Livaudais collected more than 100 toys for patients. This is the eighth year that Livaudais has participated in the toy drive.

“The toy drive this year was hugely successful,” said Carl Nini, principal of Livaudais. “It displays the kind and giving spirit of JPPSS students and employees.”

During the month of December, the Children’s Hospital cares for approximately 5,000 children, a majority of whom come from families with limited resources, according to a thank you letter from the hospital to Livaudais. The toys donated through the drive will help provide gifts for many of those children this year.
