Lincoln School for the Arts Dedicates Walk of Fame, Breaks Ground on Arts Wing

Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts held a very special Dedication of the Walk of Fame and Ground Breaking of the Lincoln Arts Wing Ceremony on Saturday, April 25 on the school campus. The event was attended by Jefferson Parish School Board (JPSB) members, new Jefferson Parish Public School System (JPPSS) Superintendent Isaac Joseph, Lincoln students, and members of the Lincoln staff, faculty, alumni organization, and community.

Along with celebrating the dedication and groundbreaking of two impressive additions to the campus, the event also showcased Lincoln’s talented students and its rich history. Current Lincoln students displayed their skills in a range of arts concentrations: vocal, instrumental, and performance. Former teachers in the Lincoln community and members of the alumni organization shared memories and spoke about the vital role the school plays in developing generations of students.
