JPPSS District Wide Customer Service Training

The Human Resources Department will be launching the JP Customer Service Training for eligible employees starting November 14, 2015.  This training is MANDATORY for eligible employees to receive the BP stipend.  The training is divided into (3) Tiers and will be provided by Dale Carnegie Training, an international organization who has implemented training to over 400 Fortune 500 companies.

Human Resources will send Tier I and Tier II employees an email via their Groupwise employee email account informing them of their assigned Tier and providing the link to register online. Employees will also be able to access the registration link via the district’s website under “Quick Links.” If an employee does not have a Groupwise email account, the employee will not receive this email.  All information related to the training will be posted on the district’s website. Each employee MUST register for the Customer Service Training and complete the ENTIRE training (3 hours) to receive the stipend.  Employees will not be allowed to just show up for a training, everyone must register in advance.  Advanced registration is MANDATORY.  Employees will NOT be allowed to enter the training if they have not pre-registered. Failure to complete the training will result in the employee not receiving the BP stipend.

Tier III employees will be able to access the training online beginning November 23, 2015. The online training will be available 24 hours from any computer with Internet access.  The district is offering Tier III training in a group setting for those employees with limited computer access or who need assistance with operating a computer.  You should ONLY sign-up for this training if you do not have a computer at home with Internet access or if you need assistance with operating a computer.  Online Customer Service Training should not be completed during normal business hours, as employees are receiving a stipend for completing the training.  Employees may complete the training during the Thanksgiving break, before school hours, after school hours, or on the weekends.

To receive the stipend, employee must meet the following (4) criteria:

  1. An active employee, eligible for benefits (work 20+ hours per week);
  2. and employed (active in payroll) on July 15, 2015 (date the BP funds were approved by the Board);
  3. and employed (active in payroll) on August 11, 2015 (date the BP were received);
  4. and complete the customer service training and certification by December 4, 2015

TIER I Training Dates for:

Principals, School Secretary, School General Clerk,  Central Office Front Desk Personnel, Human Resources Department, Compliance Office, Hearing Officers, Superintendent’s Cabinet and  ESL Testing Personnel
