Join Superintendent Joseph, Sheriff Normand in Supporting 5K & Fun Run Against Bullying

Families Helping Families of Jefferson wants you to be a super hero against bullying by participating in the 5K & Fun Run Against Bullying.

The second annual 5K & Fun Run Against Bullying takes place Saturday, October 1 at Lafreniere Park at 300 Downs Blvd. in Metairie. The honorary co-chairs for this year’s race are Jefferson Parish Public School System Superintendent Isaac G. Joseph and Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand. The 5K & Fun Run Against Bullying raises awareness and funds to help students, families, educators, and communities address bullying prevention.

The one mile fun run/walk/roll starts at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Participants are asked to dress up as their favorite super hero.
