Grace King Senior Named to LHSAA All-Academic Soccer Team

FullSizeRenderGrace King High School senior Samah Hammad will be honored during halftime of the girls soccer state championship on February 28 for something other than just her play on the pitch. Hammad has been named to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) All-Academic Composite Team for girls soccer. Hammad and the other scholar members will be recognized during the game at Tad Gormley Stadium.

The LHSAA All-Academic teams are comprised of senior student athletes with the highest GPAs in all classes/divisions of a sport from across the state. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Hammad is president of the school’s national honor society, editor of the school newspaper, and a member of the senior board. She also was named the Grace King High Student of the Year.
