Teacher Voice Advisory Council

The Teacher Voice Advisory Council is a district-wide group of JPPSS teachers who serve as advisors to the Superintendent and district leadership on district-level issues and policies.

As a Teacher Voice Advisor, you will:

  • Serve as the voice of your school’s faculty and staff and provide meaningful input on district-level decisions and policies
  • Engage directly with the superintendent and district leadership in conversations that focus on how we as a district can better meet the needs of every JPPSS student
  • Join a committed group of JPPSS educators who will shape the future of Jefferson Parish Public Schools

Becoming a Teacher Voice Advisor

The Teacher Voice Advisory Council has one to two members from each of our schools. Teachers may self-nominate or a nominate a colleague to serve as a Teacher Voice Advisor.
