Pitre Elementary student hugs Dr. Brumley

Dr. Brumley received a warm welcome from this student during his Discovery Day at Pitre Elementary.

This was arguably one of the busiest weeks of Dr. Brumley’s first 100 days as leader of the Jefferson Parish Public School System. Dr. Brumley’s Discovery Days took him to four different schools in four different cities where he met with hundreds of students, educators, parents, and community members. School visits and roundtable sessions with students, educators, and families are part of the strategies outlined in his plan, Love to Learn; Learn to Lead: A 100-Day Investment for a Stronger JPPSS.
