Student Data Privacy

The Jefferson Parish Public School System is committed to the privacy and security of our students’ data. On this page we have posted information on the various vendors that our school system actively shares student information with. Jefferson Parish Public schools derives its authority to share this information from Title 28; Bulletin 741; §2303 D-E and FERPA. Details on any state agreements can be found by clicking here. AP – Advanced Placement/The College Board 1. The College Board is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. 2. Louisiana Department of Education is the department of education for Louisiana. AP Exams are rigorous, multiple-component tests that are administered at high schools each May. High school students can earn college credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores. Each AP Exam has a corresponding AP course and provides a standardized measure of what students have learned in the AP classroom.
