Tier III Online Customer Service Training

The Human Resources Department will launch the JPPSS Tier III Online Customer Service Training  Monday, November 23, 2015.  Tier III employees consist of: Teachers, Assistant Principals, Deans, Librarians, Guidance Counselors, Student Support Unit, all remaining Classified (Custodians, Cafeteria Workers, Para-Educators etc.) and all remaining Central Office Personnel.

The online training will be provided by Dale Carnegie Training, an international organization who has implemented training to over 400 Fortune 500 companies. The online training will be available 24 hours a day and must be completed by December 4, 2015, in order to receive your BP stipend. The stipends will be direct deposited on December 15, 2015, as a separate direct deposit.

Online Customer Service Training:

  1. The Online Training will consist of (3) Training Videos that are each one hour in duration.
  2. You must view ALL (3) trainings in order to receive your stipend.
  3. The training videos do not have to be viewed in any particular order.
  4. At the end of ALL 3 trainings, you will be able to print or save your certificate of completion. Human Resources does NOT require a copy of your certificate.
  5. To access the online training you may use: your desktop, laptop, tablet, I-Pad, Smart Phone, or Android etc. The device you use to access the training MUST have sound. The training is both audio and visual and you will need to be connected to a printer if you choose to print your completion certificates.
  6. Each employee is required to sign-in to the training individually to be registered for the training. Employees may NOT view the training in a group setting at home or work because only the employee who signs in/registers for the training would be given credit for completing the training. The other employees in the group would not be given credit as they would not have signed in/registered for the training. Individual registration and completion of the training is required to receive the stipend.
  7. Employees may not complete the training while on JPPSS work time. A stipend is paid, so the training must be done on the employees personal time.
  8. If an employee does not have a computer at home with Internet access or needs assistance with operating a computer, the employee may register to participate in a Group Training with Human Resources via the district’s website at and by clicking on “Customer Service Training Tier III” under Quick Links.
  9. The online training will be presented by Dale Carnegie Training. Employees having difficulty signing in or using the training will have access to Carnegie’s Customer Support (Monday –Wednesday 8:00 A.M. – 5 P.M. eastern), the office will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving) by phone at 1-855-820-9200 or by email at
  10. When an employee begins the registration process, it is imperative that the employee writes down his/her User Name and Password. If for any reason an employee should forget his/her password, DO NOT create a New Account, go to the Forgot Password link.  Registering under two or more user names and passwords this may cause an employee to appear as if his/her training is incomplete, which may result in the employee not receiving the stipend.
  11. Employees are required to fill in the name of their school or work location, address, and phone number. Employees may use their work address and work phone; however, for payroll purposes, and in order to receive the stipend, employees MUST use the correct last 4 digits of their social security number when registering.
