Continued Training for Continued Success: PLCs Draw Road Map to Success at Butler Elementary

“We learn about our kids and their strengths and weaknesses, as well as about ourselves as teachers and our own strengths and weaknesses.” – Butler Elementary teacher Tiffanie Chiasson on the benefits of Professional Learning Communities

Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) is an ongoing process in which educators work together to achieve better results for the students they serve. The Jefferson Parish Public School System joins numerous high performing districts around the state and nation by holding early-release days for PLCs. By dismissing students two and a half hours early, teachers have time embedded into the day for this professional development.

This is the latest in a video series that highlights how schools across JPPSS are using PLCs to make a bigger impact on students.
