ACT 303 Petition Forms Now Available

The Jefferson Parish Public School System is now accepting ACT 303 Petition Forms. ACT 303 gives individuals with disabilities who failed to receive a high school diploma, the option to petition their local school board for reconsideration. Click here to download the form.

For an individual to be eligible, they must have been identified as a student with a disability receiving special education services from a Louisiana public school. That individual must have also been denied graduation solely for failing to meet the exit examination requirements.

The individual must also meet the following requirements:

  • Met all other graduation requirements
  • Taken & passed required classes to earn high school diploma
  • Earned all required Carnegie Units to earn high school diploma
  • Met any other graduation requirements other than exit exam
